The atmosphere is very chic; you feel like you are in a NYC club. They have a full service bar and a live DJ. Silver is a very design conscious restaurant with clean, geometric motifs. It's a new style called "Neo-Deco" which mixes those geometric motifs into fluid patterns. They have steered away from the log cabin feel which is what most restaurants are in Park City. As my husband pointed out this is my kind of restaurant.

We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 1 side dish and 1 dessert but if my husband had let me I would have ordered the whole menu. This food is so well crafted. Every bite exploded on your taste buds! I wanted to keep eating and if we weren't in public we would have licked our plates clean.
The appetizers we ordered were Foie Gras French Toast with granny smith apples, Almond Brioche and sherry syrup and Lump Crab Salad with green melon, fresh lime, and ginger vinaigrette. This was the first time I had Foie Gras and it was amazing! It was sweet and savory with nice contrasting textures. It was a super light dish. The apples were fresh, and adding a nice crunch. The lump crab salad is probably my favorite thing we ate that night. I would eat it everyday if I could. It was fresh and light with a pleasing citrus aftertaste. The melon and crab is an amazing paring that I would have never thought of. The ginger vinaigrette was circling the crab and melon so when you dragged a bite out you got the perfect amount of vinaigrette.
Our main courses were the Muscovy Duck Breast with caramelized fennel, braised endive and a ginger and shallot confit and the Alaskan Halibut with crispy quinoa, haricots verts and saffron beurre blanc. The duck's flavors blended so well and it had a crispy outside. It was perfectly succulent and had a smooth ginger undertone.
The Halibut was flaky and was bright. It had great texture and was a effortless symphony of taste. It was also just fun to eat. As you dragged your fork across the plate you gather some extra sauce.
Our side was Parmesan Truffle Fries and to start we got some bread with chive oil. The fries were amazing and I have decided I like anything with truffles on it. The truffle cuts through the starch and makes it light and fluffy.
The bread with the chive oil is something I have never had but was so exquisite I could have kept eating it all night. It has a nice kick and the presentation on a slate added so much to the experience.
The dessert we ordered blew my mind. We ordered the Brown Butter Pound Cake with roasted pineapple, vanilla bean and cilantro. The dessert was so well balanced; the warm and cool temperatures mixed well together and every bite melted in your mouth. It was amazing!
The service in the restaurant is exceptional. They spend that extra 3 seconds with you which makes your experience that much better. I can't express how amazing this restaurant is in one blog post you just need to experience it for yourself. This restaurant has become one of my favorite restaurants and I am counting down the days until I can go back and eat all this food again! All I can say is that I LOVE this restaurant.
You picked very different foods at this restaurant. I didn't know you were so daring with your taste buds! I can't wait to go and try it.
